Fleet driver training

Practical on-road training for your staff across North Wales and North West England, delivered at your workplace.

Your duty of care

If your employees drive for work, even in their own cars, you have a responsibility to make sure they are trained to stay safe. Company vehicles are involved in road incidents far more often than most businesses expect, and repairs, downtime and insurance claims quickly add up.

Well-planned driver training reduces that risk, and it usually pays for itself through fewer incidents and lower running costs.

The Corporate Manslaughter Act 2007

Under the Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007, an organisation can be held responsible if a gross failure in how it manages its activities, including driver training, causes a death. Training your drivers is part of showing you take that seriously.

Did you know?

Driving for work is one of the riskiest things many employees do. RoSPA has long highlighted that more people are killed in work-related road incidents than in all other workplace accidents.

Fuel save driver training

Smoother, more anticipatory driving can noticeably cut fuel use, with less wear on brakes, tyres and clutches and lower emissions.

Better hazard awareness

Drivers learn to plan further ahead, spot risks earlier and stay calmer under pressure.

Training reports

Every driver receives a written report, giving you a clear record of the training delivered.

Let's get training

Training takes place at your drivers' workplace, in their own vehicles. A driver risk assessment is a one-hour session on the road, and every driver gets a written training report.
