Welcome to Hedleyhope Parish Council

Here you’ll find updates on our meetings, parish projects, events hosted by Hedleyhope Community Association and opportunities to get involved.

We are working on behalf of the community to maintain and improve our shared spaces, support local services, and help shape the future of our parish. Our responsibilities include:

  • Managing and maintaining the village hall, play area and village green
  • Carrying out projects to improve the quality of life and environment in the local area
  • Working with Durham County Council and local police on issues such as roads and crime prevention
  • Commenting on local planning applications as part of the planning process

We are always keen to hear from residents, so if you have ideas, suggestions, or concerns about local issues, please get in touch.
