Pass Plus is a DVSA course for newly qualified drivers. It builds your skills and confidence in situations the driving test can't fully cover:
- Rural roads
- Driving in town
- All-weather driving
- Motorways
- Night driving
The course usually totals around six hours, taken in two or three-hour sessions. When you finish, I'll apply for your Pass Plus certificate, which you can show your insurer as it may help reduce the cost of your car insurance.

Do I need my provisional licence before my first lesson?
Yes. You need a valid provisional driving licence before we can go out on the road. You can apply for your provisional licence on GOV.UK.
Which areas do you cover?
I teach across Chester postcodes, as well as Hawarden and Broughton. If you're just outside these areas, get in touch and I'll let you know if I can help.
How long are lessons?
Lessons are one or two hours. Two-hour lessons give us time for longer routes, and the 10-hour block is discounted when booked in 2-hour lessons.
Can you help with my theory test?
Absolutely. I'll support your theory preparation alongside your practical lessons. When you're ready, you can book your theory test on GOV.UK.
When should I book my practical test?
I'll let you know when I think you're ready. You can then book your practical test on GOV.UK.
I have special requirements. Can you help?
